Randy Hunt Republican of the Year
On April 19th at their Annual Patriots’ Day event at the Sandwich American Legion, the Sandwich Republican Town Committee (SRTC) awarded the Republican of the Year award to Representative Randy Hunt. Mr. Hunt is a long time member of the Committee and has been actively involved as a member. He has organized many fundraising events, volunteered for military support groups, charitable organizations, and played key roles for various political campaigns. Randy Hunt has also put his accounting skills to use (he is a CPA) by serving as a Treasurer for several campaigns prior to being elected to the House of Representatives.
Previous award winners are Mary Wagner (2004), David Neal (2005), Jeff Perry (2006), Doug Dexter (2007), Jennifer Wilson (2008), David Leary (2009), Mary Hunt (2010), Lisa Perry (2010), Dennis Fonseca (2011) and Skip Sandborg (2012).
